you hired your attorney, you can fire your attorney.
yes…definitly
Yes you can. And, I suggest you report him to the state bar association. You need to move fast because there is a statute of limitations on personal injury law suits.
Yes you can, Please that your lawyer works for you. He by law can collect 33% of what he recovers for you.
yes you can, but most state allow him a small percentage of the setlement even if you have someone else do the rest, ask for a free consultation with the attorney you are thinking of replacing the old one with, he’ll explain it all to you for the state you are in.
I do not know all the facts here so I do not want to say run to the bar association, but find a new attorney and then ask the other to withdraw. Get his opinion on how your case was handled so far. Then decide if you need to file a complaint. Remember, the system is slow, are you sure it the lawyer? Good luck and sorry you were hurt, by the way.
Yes you can.
But before you fire him, why not consult with another attorney? It may very well be that this delay is very average and another attorney might tell you that he/she cannot do anything faster than what your current attorney is doing.
If you do end up firing your old attorney, the new one you consulted with can help you in the transition.
