Use the Public Defender’s office… they know the ins and outs of your local courts much better than most defense attorneys (unless the private defense attorney is one of the county’s conflict attorneys’) Really… that’s my advice!
I would do a search on Targetlaw. Since its a first offense you should be able to find someone in that price range. Look over some websites of attorneys that are specific to CA. DUI and grab a few out of the search and call around. Qualify them experience and than price. I did the search for you…
