How do I find a good Lawyer for my friend’s Felony DUI charge?

Does anyone know how to find a good lawyer who is not going to rip him off? Has anyone had a story similar to this? Do you know the cost of a specific attorney in Los Angeles County that you can recommend?
I don’t know about LA but if he were in Arizona, he’d do probably 90 days in Tent City even with a great lawyer.
From what you just described – it is likely that the case against him is airtight.
They have his blood alcohol level
He made an illegal u-turn
He caused an accident
I expect that a good lawyer will attempt a plea bargain.
