I have this attorney but I am not really comfortable with him Im planning to change attorneys but is this ok to do? Can the other lawyer file a lawsuit against me for not staying with him?

You can fire him and get a new lawyer, but the first one might still be entitleed to a cut of the settlement.
You can change lawyers like you change your underwear. The only problem I got with that is if the lawyer is representing you as the plaintiff and he’s got what they call a contingency agreement.
He might not take too good to your idea of getting another lawyer. And the other one may not be so happy taking it over from the 1st one if it means splitting whatever you can get out of the defendant.
You may be able to find some resources here. Just ask around, typically though I believe it’s ok to switch, there may be some stipulations though.
