I had a DWI for an almost fatal motor vehicle online prescriptions accident. My lawyer knowingly withheld information from me, and chose not to represent me very well. Aparently, I said some things during my arrest that I had no knowledge of at the time. I think that I may have had temporary amnesia, because I now remember it. I know that I can report this lawyer, but I don’t want him to lose his job but I also do not want him to get off easy for this either.

I am being charged with DWI and posession of drugs inside of a vehicle. I am in a really tight situation and am considering just getting a public online drugs defender becuase i cannot afford a lawyer. At the preliminary they told me i prob could qualify for a public defender, but all of my friends are highly advising against it. They say that public defenders dont fight for you and that they dont care. They just work for the state and cater to the prosecuters interests more than to yours. Is this true?
