Telephone hearing for a DWI.Please Help?

I was in an auto accident in Dallas County on June 1st. It was proven to be my fault. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. I was taken to the hosp. with several serious injuries…severe concussion, 3 broken bones on left arm, broken jaw, and taken to immediate surgery to remove my spleen. After being released from the hosp. 3 days later I called to request a hearing and now it is set for next Thurs. Does anyone know if I need an attorney for a telephone hearing??????

I suppose the moral of this story is don’t drink and drive.
You don’t NEED one, but you can have one I suppose…
If I had a nickel for everytime someone said, I only had two drinks, officer….
Yes, you need an attorney and you need one immediately. You were dumb by drinking and driving, don’t be a fool and think that you’re smart enough to handle this on your own. Lawyer up immediately before you say anything more to ***** yourself.
